Mumbai: After a successful DLF IPL Season 4, MAX, the Premium Hindi Movies and Special Events channel brings the movie mania back for its viewers with a month long film festival featuring the biggest blockbusters of all times titled “SUPERHIT PARADE”.

This unique film festival will showcase films dealing with myriad themes of love, action, drama, sports and just about anything that you could ask for. With superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and many more lighting up your screen, there is no better way to sit back and enjoy this summer!
Continuing its proposition of ‘Deewana Bana De’, the festival will showcase some of the biggest blockbusters of all times such as Chak De, Rab Ne Bana di Jodi, Koi Mil Gaya, Munna Bhai MBBS, Bunty Aur Babli, New York, Parineeta, Karan Arjun and many more, starting May 30th every Monday to Thursday at 8pm.

Financial highlights:
For the Year ended March 31, 2011
Leveraged by strong growth in Commercial Vehicle sector, the company registered revenue growth by 43.1% during the Fiscal 2011. The revenue increased from Rs. 21149 Lacs for the Fiscal 2010 to Rs. 30265 Lacs for the Fiscal 2011. The Net Profits increased by 84.6% to Rs. 3288 Lac as against Rs. 1781 Lac for the previous year. Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the FY 2010-11 increased to Rs. 18.63 which was Rs. 10.09 in corresponding previous year.

The company had a revenue growth of 60.7% for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. The revenue increased to Rs. 10771 Lacs in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011 from Rs. 6702 Lacs in the fourth quarter of previous fiscal. Pedestal on the robust sales growth, company’s Net Profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 has increased by 103.8% to Rs. 1327 Lacs compared toRs. 651 Lacs for the corresponding quarter ended March 31, 2010. Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the fourth quarter is at Rs. 7.44 which was Rs. 3.69 in corresponding previous quarter.
Company’s subsidiaries in UK and USA have turnaround and posted profits during the year.
Commenting on the performance of the fourth quarter, Mr. Harish Sheth, Chairman & Managing Director, Setco Automotive Limited, said “2010-11 has been a challenging year. The OEMs have increased production and shifted technologies. As a key supplier we have made the necessary upgrades to ensure the highest level of service to them. The challenge still remains towards ensuring that input costs are reduced or at the best maintained; additionally we also need to focus more on our supply chain augmentation. The Board of Directors have appreciated the performance and we as a organization are committed towards delivering better value to our stakeholders in the future.”

General Motors India records sales of 8329 vehicles in May '11
New Delhi: General Motors India sold 8329 units in May 2011, compared to 8225 units in May 2010, registering a marginal growth of 1.3%.  The May 2011 sales comprised 3023 units of Chevrolet Spark, 2144 units of the Beat, 1767 units of Tavera, 659 units of the Cruze, 240 units of Optra, 218 units of Aveo, 143 units of Captiva and 135 units of Aveo U-VA.
 Commenting on the performance, Mr. P. Balendran, Vice President, GM India said, “Although we have recorded a marginal growth, the numbers are not on the desired lines as the footfalls in the show-rooms have started coming down. Given the hike in interest rates, fuel prices, commodity prices, inflation etc., we expect the market to remain depressed in the coming months as well.   Nevertheless, we remain committed to living up to the Chevrolet promise and fully leveraging our resources in India to offer customers across the country best-in-class products and services that meet their unique needs.”
