~ Brings Hindi dubbed Hollywood Action Blockbuster Films to the Hindi Heartland ~

May 11, 2011… BIG MAGIC India’s first channel exclusively for the Hindustan, the core Hindi heartland from the Reliance Broadcast Network stable, featuring locally relevant entertainment around Humor, Music & Bollywood Entertainment will now also offer its audience some adrenaline rush through its Friday 10 pm property ‘Movie Magic’. Movie Magic will feature a series on Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee with some of the choicest and best films. Through this property, the channel will live up to its promise of offering this set of audiences, high octane entertainment through Hindi dubbed Hollywood action blockbuster films.
Movie Magic premiers on May 13th, with the film Game of Death, a film that mystifies the man and the legend, Bruce Lee. Lee plays Billy Lo, a successful movie star, who is shot for refusing to join an international management syndicate. He fakes his own death as an opportunity to pursue the gang in secret. Although the death of Lee inevitably affected the final production of the film, it still contains some of the most unforgettable sequences in the history of cinema. The climax, in which Lee combats different masters of martial arts on each floor as he climbs his way to the top of a pagoda, is a perfect example. And the unique nunchaku battle with Danny Inasanto proves that Lee was years ahead of his time.

Swaraj Tractors touch the 8,00,000 sales mark


Mumbai, May 9, 2011: The Swaraj Division of Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector - a part of the U.S. $11.1 billion Mahindra Group - has touched the 8,00,000 mark in tractor sales.

Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Bishwambhar Mishra, Chief Executive, Tractor & Mechanization, Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “It is a matter of great pride for us to have achieved this milestone. The Swaraj brand is committed to providing its customers with the best products and services in keeping with their requirements. The fact that we have touched the 800,000 mark in sales is a clear validation of this focus.”

Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) for Swaraj in FY11 stood at 60997 units, as against 49422 units for F10, an increase of 23.4%.

The Swaraj brand enjoys strong brand equity in the industry with a market share of 12.4% (figures for the fiscal year FY11). The brand is known for producing tractors that are powerful and reliable and its product portfolio offers tractors ranging from 25 HP to 70 HP.  Swaraj also has a wide network consisting of over 600 dealerships across the country.

Swaraj tractors are exported to various countries including Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania and the USA.
